ABOUT
COVENANT CHURCH
Our History & Purpose
Covenant Church began as a mission of Covenant Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America. In 1983, Rev. Dr. Paul Sagan was called as the church planter and the congregation was established as a particular church in 1986. Pastor Paul has served as the senior pastor since that time.
Covenant Church's mission is to be a church that ministers to Fayetteville and the greater Northwest Arkansas area and reaches out to the campus of the University of Arkansas through our denomination's campus ministry, Reformed University Fellowship. We also have a strong commitment to support world missions through our annual missions conference and faith promise giving.
Covenant Church's purpose is to glorify God by loving Him and loving people. Our motto is "Apart from Christ we can do nothing," which expresses itself in our deep commitment of applying the gospel of grace to every area of our lives.
